Mindray and Medical Ultrasonic Society of Thailand Ink Strategic Cooperation Agreement

On November 26th, 2024, Mindray welcomed a distinguished group of medical experts from the Medical Ultrasonic Society of Thailand (MUST) to the Shenzhen headquarters for strategic cooperation signing and collaborative discussions.

The visit also featured a product demonstration of our newly launched Premium Ultrasound System, the Resona A20, allowing the experts to experience Mindray's dedication to innovation and excellence in medical diagnostics firsthand.

Mindray leaders and the MUST delegation exchanged pleasantries and posed for a group photo before the signing ceremony.

Mr. Gene Liang, General Manager of Medical Imaging Division, Mindray International Sales and Marketing Department, and Prof. Natthaporn Tanpowpong, President of MUST, signed a landmark Strategic Cooperation Agreement on behalf of both parties. Nearly 40 attendees gathered to witness this remarkable moment.

The agreement is anchored on three pillars:

  • Joint Establishment of Standardized Ultrasound Training in Thailand
  • Pre-launch Evaluation and Validation of High-end Products
  • Joint Establishment of Academic Exchange and Mutual Visit Platform

The signing marks a pivotal step in the joint mission to revolutionize healthcare. Mindray will actively push forward the cooperation and development of healthcare facilities with the MUST, improving the ability to provide medical equipment and solutions, academy, and services, and promoting the training of medical human resources to build a strong foundation.

Mindray is committed to being the bridge and platform for communication. We look forward to working with all the medical professionals from MUST to guide the development of innovative medical technologies.

Both parties have reached a consensus on the importance of maintaining longstanding partnerships and have agreed to tap the vast potential of mutually beneficial cooperation.

Weinan Zhao, Product Marketing Manager of Mindray, successfully introduced Mindray’s newly launched Premium Ultrasound System, Resona A20. In the conclusion of his sharing, he pictured the ultimate goal of medical imaging is to achieve a 'glass body' vision, where advanced technologies could enable us to reveal what matters with unprecedented clarity.

Thailand medical experts have shown a keen interest in the excellent diagnostic capabilities of Resona A20, engaging in discussions about some hot topics such as elastography and AI applications.

 

In the final session, Dr. Wenshuo Tian and Dr. Claudia Zhang, Clinical Application Manager from Mindray showcased the Resona A20's exceptional precision and efficiency in a live scan demo. Clinical experts from the MUST were excited to get hands-on with the machine, marveling at its superior ultrasound imaging clarity.

As early as the CUDA2023, Mindray co-organized the International Roundtable Forum, inviting presidents of multiple associations to sign an MoU on Ultrasound Standardized Training Cooperation, including Prof. Natthaporn Tanpowpong. This time, the visit of the MUST to Mindray's Shenzhen headquarters has truly embarked the partnership on a brand new journey.

The following day, the MUST group visited the West China Hospital of Sichuan University for further exchange in ultrasound new technology clinical applications experience.
