When children listen to music, they don’t just listen. They melt into the melody and flow with the rhythm. Something inside starts to unfold its wings —— soon the child and the music are one.

On June 1st, 2022, in The Children's Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine (ZUCH), we are witnessing the wonderful moment described by Jackson. At the Children's Day concert themed “Life Shines through Music", musicians and their young students from Hangzhou Art Troupe for Primary and Middle School Students pluck at the strings to play a series of pleasing songs. With the exciting melody and the lively rhythm, the children can't help swinging their hands, and are all immersed in a happy atmosphere.

Music knows no borders. On this special day, the concert hosted by ZUCH connected the hospitals in one event. It brought the two hospitals together to share melodies and laughter, with best wishes to each other.

ZUCH is the largest comprehensive center for pediatric medical care in Zhejiang Province. The hospital specializes in pediatric medical care, education, research, child care, and the handling of public health emergencies. In recent years, ZUCH has been actively engaged in academic exchanges with international pediatric experts and institutions, while attempting to incorporate humanistic care into the overall development of children patients through diverse cultural activities.
